Japan Gold Disc Awards telah mengungkapkan pemenang tahun ini, dan BTS telah membuat rekor baru!
Pada 14 Maret 2022, Asosiasi Industri Rekaman Jepang (RIAJ) secara resmi mengumumkan pemenang Japan Gold Disc Awards ke-36.
BTS membawa pulang rekor 10 penghargaan tahun ini, menjadikan mereka artis asing pertama dalam sejarah yang pernah memenangkan 10 penghargaan di Japan Gold Disc Awards dalam satu tahun.
Grup tersebut tidak hanya memenangkan Artist of the Year (Asia) selama empat tahun berturut-turut, tetapi mereka juga memenangkan Album of the Year (Asia) untuk album kompilasi Jepang mereka 'BTS, THE BEST' dan Music Video of the Year (Asia) untuk 'Map of The Soul ON:E.'
Selain itu, penghargaan 3 Album Terbaik (Asia) tahun ini diberikan kepada 'Attacca' SEVENTEEN, 'Chaotic Wonderland' dari TXT, dan 'BTS, THE BEST' dari BTS.
